Sara Price will be competing at her first-ever SCORE Baja 1000

LAKE ELSINORE, California (November 14, 2018) – 2018 SCORE Milestone Award nominee Sara Price will be competing at her first-ever SCORE Baja 1000 aboard the #204 RPM Offroad Trophy Truck Spec. The Tijuana Desert Challenge podium finisher was assigned 2ndplace off the starting line for this upcoming Baja race and will be one of the top contenders for the season championship in her Class.

The world’s most iconic, oldest, prestigious and longest continuously held desert race, this year’s epic 51st SCORE Baja 1000 is being held over a rugged 806.76 mile race course over the Northern part of Mexico’s majestic Baja, California peninsula, starting and finishing in Ensenada, Baja California Norte.

‘’I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity RPM Offroad has given us to be apart of such a prestigious race, I never thought I would have this chance, let alone be in the chase for a Championship our First year in the SCORE Series. You can bet Erica and myself are doing all we can to be prepared for this race along side our team!’’ said Price.

Navigator Erica Sacks, who competed in the Baja 1000 last year, will be co-driving with Sara once again for the longest event of the SCORE series. ‘’We’ve been putting in a lot of work into our first full SCORE season with RPM Offroad and it’s been an amazing experience. I couldn’t be more excited to get back into the #204 TT Spec. for the final race of the SCORE Series and give Baja everything we’ve got.’’ Said Sacks.

Price will be sharing her journey with Multi-Disciplinary Champion & Veteran BAJA racer Rudy Iribe. The Tijuana native will be taking the wheel at mile 380 and will be handing the RPM Offroad TT Spec Truck back to Sara at mile 670. Iribe has won several Championships and races with RPM Offroad and was the recipient of the Toyota Milestone Award multiple times. ‘’ I’m excited to be back behind the wheels of the RPM Offroad TT Spec and share the wheels with Sara Price!’’ said Iribe.

The RPM Offroad team scored an historic win in 2017 at the 50th anniversary Baja 1000 with Mexican driver Carlos “Apdaly” Lopez. He also won the SCORE International Trophy Truck championship in 2015 and 2016. The team earned their first Baja 1000 Class 1 victory in 2014.

The duo just got back from an intense pre-running session down in Mexico with Sara’s Super ATV Polaris RZR XP 1000 Turbo S alongside mentor and friend Rhys Millen.

Price is set to complete her full SCORE International season with Team RPM at the 51st annual Baja 1000 in the Trophy Truck Spec, a regulated class that showcase driver talent above all else. Class vehicles are equally matched, with rules specifying engine, suspension and wheel and tire size.

Price will also add competition dates to her schedule as opportunities arise. She opened the season at King of the Hammers in the UTV category and will be ending her season at the notorious Baja1000 in the TT Spec Truck this upcoming weeked. Her adventures are extensively documented on her social channels along with announcements for the 2019 season.
