LAKE ELSINORE, California (December 15, 2017) – Multi-time motocross champion turned truck racer Sara Price is returning to the Stadium SUPER Trucks series this weekend to drive an RPM Offroad entry in her hometown round.

“Robby Gordon’s Stadium SUPER Trucks series is intense and I’m ready to hop back in and drive thanks to the team at RPM Offroad,” said Price. “It’s going to be a stacked field with some of the best racers in the sport and I’m excited to get out there and compete.”

Price will compete as a guest on the Lake Elsinore track this Friday and Saturday in the exciting Stadium SUPER Trucks World Championship Finals. She will race one of three of the vibrant orange RPM Offroad trucks entered this weekend, competing alongside teammates Carlos “Apdaly” Lopez, winner of this year’s Baja 1000, and four-time AMA Supercross champion Ryan Villopoto. It is Price’s 10th appearance in the Stadium SUPER Truck series.

The first-ever female participant in the series, Price returns after running a partial season in 2016. She competed in nine different events in Australia, Canada and United States, with a career best result of fourth-place overall in Costa Mesa, California.

This season, Price has contested a select series of off-road races for RPM Offroad in both Trophy Truck and Trophy Truck Spec classes in the Best In The Desert series, with a best finish of sixth. She also won the Next Female Hoonigan contest to earn a chance to drive a factory backed Fiat Rally Car in a pair of hill climbs, seizing second-place result at the San Pedro Martir Hill Climb in Mexico.

Named the 2016 Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Rising Star, Price’s racing career started on dirt when she joined Kawasaki as the first factory-supported female racer.

She started racing dirtbikes at the age of eight, collected 19 amateur titles, and medaled in Women’s Super X at the 2010 X Games. She holds the record as the most winning female amateur to-date.

The versatile competitor also raced UTVs and in 2013 campaigned the WORCS series. She moved on to the Lucas Oil Regional Series in 2015 to grab second-place overall in the production side-by-side championship. That same year, she finished the Terracross Championship undefeated to take the women’s title.

When she isn’t racing, Price works as a stunt professional, performing on motorcycles, and on four wheels and as a precision driver for television and film.

This weekend’s doubleheader World Championship Finals take place at Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium December 15-16. Qualifying is set for 12:40 p.m. on Friday with racing at 6 p.m. Saturday qualifying takes place at 4 p.m. and opening ceremonies are scheduled for 6 p.m. In addition to SUPER Trucks competition, this weekend’s Lake Elsinore event includes racing in production UTV 1000’s, UTV 170’s and Mod Karts, as well as headline concert performances by Warrant and Buckcherry.
