October 15, 2024 (Mohave Valley, AZ) – In a bold move, professional off-road racer Sara Price is proud to announce the debut of her first ever Can-Am Maverick R X RS build, titled the Rip & Dip Edition built by Alsup Racing Development. Designed specifically for her Dakar Rally training, fun having and pro stock production classes. This vehicle combines Price’s technical expertise with the unparalleled off-roading experience of the 240HP Can-Am Maverick R and its new DCT 7 Speed Transmission.

Price’s Can-Am Maverick R ‘Rip & Dip’ Edition is purpose-built and outfitted to withstand the demands of Dakar Rally training as the main focus. As the first American female to win an FIA stage at the world’s toughest off-road race, Sara brings her very own insights as to what it takes to compete at the world-class level.
Drawing on her championship-winning experience, the ‘Rip & Dip’ Edition features advanced instruments such as the RNS TripMaster GFX-one of the most sophisticated rally navigation devices and trip meters available-it provides unparalleled precision for road book navigation in the most demanding environments.
This edition combines upgrades designed to withstand treacherous terrains while balancing agility, durability, and endurance. Whether you’re preparing for a race, enjoying open desert rides, or tackling the challenges at Rip & Dip Ranch, this versatile machine is built to elevate every adventure.

- Custom ‘Rip & Dip’ Livery: True to Price’s passion and fearless personality, the Maverick R features a custom ‘Rip & Dip’ design, embodying her passion for hers and Ricky’s ranch in Arizona where you can ‘’Rip through the desert and take a ‘’Dip’’ in the desert.
- Rally-Spec Navigation System: The UTV is equipped with a specialized navigation system to train for Dakar-style navigation challenges, ensuring Price has every tool needed to conquer any terrain with pinpoint accuracy.

About Sara Price
Sara Price, owner of SP Motorsports, began racing dirt bikes at age eight, winning 19 amateur titles and medaling at the 2010 X-Games. As the most decorated female amateur in motocross, she became the first factory-supported female racer with Monster Energy Kawasaki. In 2012, she transitioned to UTV racing, claiming the Women’s Championship in the Terracross undefeated in every round of the Series and campaigning multiple disciplines as a driver and also leading laps in the Stadium SUPER Truck Series as the first woman to do so.
In 2019, Sara made history IronWomaning the infamous Baja 1000 and becoming the first woman to win the SCORE International Trophy Truck Spec Championship. She joined Chip Ganassi Racing’s Extreme-E team in 2021, adding another major win to her resume. In 2023, she dominated in her Can-Am with victories at the Mint400, California 300, Baja 500, Sonora Rally winning the Road to Dakar, and the Triple Crown Championship. Her dream to compete in the toughest race in the world The Dakar Rally came true in 2024, where she became the first American female to win a stage and the Rookie Award, finishing fourth in SSV Category.
Beyond Off-Road racing, Sara is also a stunt professional a part of the SAG-AFTRA for films like Jumanji: The Next Level and commercials seen worldwide, and now races powerboats with Will Smith’s Westbrook Racing team in the E1 Series, securing their first win at the Lake Como GP.
