LAKE ELSINORE, California (May 31, 2019) – Multi-Disciplinary Champion Sara Price will compete at the 51st SCORE International Baja 500. This weekend’s internationally televised round 2 of the four-race 2019 World Desert Championship will start and finish in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Stadium at the Estero Beach Resort in Ensenada and will be held over a rugged race course of 487.11 miles.

‘’We had an incredible run at the Baja 250 coming in a solid 2nd place we are so close to that Win and this course is challenging, it’s very technical and there is a lot of areas that can end your race so patience will be key.’’ said Price.

Waypoint Nav School Navigator Erica Sacks will be alongside Price for the race. ‘’ This is going to be a very technical-dusty course, leaving little room for errors. Patience and very detailed notes is going to be  the best  strategy to make it to the finish line.’’ said Sacks.

Coming into the 500, Price will be the second Trophy Truck Spec. to take the green flag Saturday morning ahead of a stacked, 27 official entries, class. After a memorable 2ndplace finish at the San Felipe 250, Price is ready to hunt down some precious points for the championship.

The duo is pre-running down in Mexico with Sara’s Super ATV Polaris RZR Turbo S doing the work needed to know every inch of course.

‘’We are thrilled to come into the weekend with Sara currently holding a 2nd place in her class and look forward to see the #204 cross the finish line. We’ve put in an incredible amount of hours to prepare for this event and feel confident coming into this race.’’ Said Justin Matney.

The team scored an historic win in 2017 at the 50th anniversary Baja 1000 with Mexican driver Carlos “Apdaly” Lopez. He also won the SCORE International Trophy Truck championship in 2015 and 2016. The team earned their first Baja 1000 Class 1 victory in 2014.

Price is set to race the full SCORE International season aboard her 4WP/ RPM Racing backed Trophy Truck Spec. Prepped and built by Geiser Brothers, TT Spec. Is A regulated class that showcases driver talent above all else. Class vehicles are equally matched, with rules specifying engine, suspension and wheel and tire size.

Price will also add competition dates to her schedule as opportunities arise. She opened the season at King of the Hammers in the UTV category. Her adventures all season will be extensively documented on her social channels.
